OUR PHILOSOPHY:
To provide a warm and safe environment
to enable the children to make a smooth transition from home
to school reinforced by a positive image. Each child grows and develops
at his/her own pace. We will offer reasonable choices to encourage
creativity and work for solutions that establish positive self-images
and self-worth. Through these activities the children will grow
in increased verbal skills and be comfortable with the satisfaction
of reaching goals.
OUR PURPOSE:
To provide a stimulating and growing experience through
emotional, social, and intellectual supportive activities.
OUR GOAL:
To establish a comfortable atmosphere for the children and parents
through regular school/parent contacts.
OUR LICENSING AND ACCREDITATION:
Rainbow Child Care is licensed to operate legally
by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The license
is displayed outside the Director's office. The licensing records
are also displayed outside the Director's office. There is a toll
free number, which may be used to report any suspected violation
or outstanding service performed by the center. THe toll free number
is 1-866-635-3748.
Rainbow Child Care group sizes
will be: no more than twice the staff/child ratio. The laws
and rules governing child care are available upon request.
The Administrator and each employee of Rainbow Child Care is
required to report any suspicions of child abuse or neglect to
the public children services agency. We at Rainbow
Child Care do not exceed the ratios of the state. All ratios
are followed as follows:
Infants: 1:5
Toddlers: 1:7
Preschool: 1:10
Pre-K: 1:12
School age: 1:18
Licensing inspection reports and substantiated complaint
investigation reports for the current licensing period will be
displayed in the sign/out area.
Rainbow Child Care licensing record,
including licensing inspection reports and complaint investigations,
as well as evaluation forms from the health, building, and
fire departments that inspect the center are available upon
request from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
